  • Where is the Inn Located?
    The Arroyo Vista Inn is located at 335 Monterey Road in South Pasadena. South Pasadena is 15 minutes from both Downtown Los Angeles and Old Town Pasadena. We are on the south side of the street between Pasadena Avenue and Indiana. Look for driveway which located by a stone wall. The Inn is on top of the hill and not visiable from the stree.
  • Is the Inn Close to Public Transportation?
    The Inn is approximately 3/4 of a mile from the South Pasadena Gold Line Station which can take you to Downtown Los Angeles (and beyond) and Old Town Pasadena. The Pasadena Convention Center is 2 blocks from the Del Mar Gold Line Station.
  • Is there and Airport Shuttle?
    We do not have an airport shuttle but we have a pick up service from LAX and Burbank Airport. LAX is pick up is $60 and Burbank is $30 during non-rush hour. Contact us at or book online.
  • Does the Inn have Parking?
    We have free parking in front of the Inn just steps from the Inn door.
  • Does the Inn allow pets
    We allow pets in certain rooms. You need to contact us via email at to make a pet reservation. We have a $50 per stay pet cleaning fee. ​
  • What does your room rate include?
    Our room rates include Breakfast for two, WIFI, Parking, Taxes and Happy Hour.
  • Can we put an extra bed n our room?
    Not all our rooms allow for an extra bed. Room 1 the Oak Terrace has an extra twin bed already. ​Room 3 (Sunrise) and Room 4 (Daybreak) can all accommodate an extra bed. Extra beds with breakfast are $50 per night. If just the bed and no extra person then it is $35 per night.
  • Does the Inn have an elevator?
    Our rooms are on the second and third floors and we do not have an elevator. Please request a second floor room (Rooms 1 through 5) if you have some difficulty with stairs.
  • What amenities does each room have?

  • Does the Inn have WIFI?
    There is free high speed WIFI throughout the Inn.
  • Do the rooms have televisions?
    All rooms have flat screen TVs with Cable TV access.
  • What time is check in?
    Normal check-in time is 3:00 pm. You can arrive anytime after that. You will receive a door code three days before arrival which you will use to enter the Inn. If you do not receive a door code 24 hours before arrival please email us at After you enter the Inn there is a self-check in desk off the living room. Please respect our other guests by keeping your noise to a minimum if you check in late or leaving early. ​
  • Can we check in early?
    Sometimes we can accommodate early check-in. Please contact us via email at or call us at our main number 323-478-7300 and press 3 for the Inn Keeper on Duy the day of your arrival to confirm if you can check in early. Worst case you can leave your bags at the Inn and get your key early so you don't have to worry about it later.
  • What time is Check Out
    Check out is 11:00 am. Please let us know if you need a little extra time or want to store your bags.
  • What is your deposit policy?
    We collect 50% at time of your reservation and the balance 24 hours prior to the arrival date.
  • What is the Inn's Cancellation Policy?
    Full refund if cancelled 14 days in advance (30 days for New Year's). Generally we work with our guests to come up with a solution if something comes up and they can't make their original reservation date.
  • What are breakfast hours?
    Weekdays 7:00 am to 9:00 am Weekends 8:00 am to 10:00 am Breakfast is in the dining room. We can deliver breakfast to your room for a $30 charge.
  • What do you serve for breakfast?
    Breakfast during the week is a cold buffet plus sit down hot breakfast in our dining room. So you can either grab something quickly or sit down for a nice hot meal with an egg dish, breakfast meat and bread of your choice. Weekends is a sit-down breakfast in the dining room.
  • Can we bring a guest or guests to breakfast?
    We love our guests to bring friends or family to breakfast. It is an extra $15 per person (great deal). We appreciate advance notice but that is not necessary.
  • Can we get breakfast in our room?
    Yes we can deliver breakfast to your room during normal breakfast hours. There is a $30 charge.
  • What if we have dietary restrictions?
    We can accommodate most dietary restrictions. Just let us know at the time of the reservation or email us at prior to arrival. ​
  • When is Happy Hours?
    Happy hour is 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm daily in the Living Room. It usually consists of wine and cheese but may vary upon occasion.
