The Arroyo Vista Inn is pleased to partner with guest Chef, Susan Kromka, who will be teaching a series of cooking classes each month.
The beginning of the class will be instruction and participation in the kitchen, followed by tasting the menu with complimenting wines in the dining room.
The class is $80.00 per person which includes demonstration, participation, wine and menu tasting. Spaces are limited and go quickly!

Cycling is a favorite of many Pasadena residents, there are several paths including the Rose Bowl Loop.
In the mood for a hike? The San Gabriel Mountains are full of trails ranging from the Arroyo Seco Trail that is about 5 miles to trails well over 10 miles!
Fore! There are public golf courses close by including one right next to the Rose Bowl. The Brookside Golf Course is a nice public course and there is also Arroyo Seco Golf Course too.
If you are interested in horseback riding, Flintridge Riding Club is close by and fun to watch!
The Eaton Canyon Nature Center is full of plants, animals, geology, and meteorology. They even have moonlight nature walks!

*The Inn is located just south of the Rose Bowl Stadium in the same Arroyo. The walk to the Stadium is only 2.5 miles along a river pathway. The Rose Bowl Stadium is the home Field for the UCLA Bruins Football , and holds the annual new year's Championship Rose Bowl Football Game.
*The annual Pasadena Marathon , half-marathon, 5k, bike tour, and 3.1 mile fun walk/run will be held March 22, 2009.
*The Amgem Tour of California Pasadena Hotel will be finishing in Pasadena on February 21 around 3:30, then you can check in a rest at Arroyo Vista Inn! Please ask for special rates!
*USC Trojans Football is played at the Los Angeles Coliseum and Sports Arena which is located about 10 miles away.
*The LA Dodgers stadium is located just 7 miles away from the Inn. Concerts and other events are held at the stadium during the off-season.

If you are traveling on a Government per diem, please remember when determining the cost of your stay at Arroyo Vista Inn to also consider your meal per diem as our rate includes a full breakfast valued at $15 per person.
For our active or retired Military guests with military ID, we are pleased to offer a 10% discount on the lodging portion of your stay.

The luscious tree covered grounds provide plenty of fresh air and a peaceful atmosphere perfect for brainstorming!
The Inn offers complimentary parking, WI-Fi Internet, fax usage, fresh coffee, tea, water, and soft drinks available throughout the day, wine and cheese in the afternoon and a delicious gourmet breakfast.
